Living and breathing earth and fire for a career

As a 3rd generation of producing onggi following my father, I have lived and breathed earth and fire as a lifelong job.
I have only been dedicated to realizing the beauty of traditional onggi with the outlook of an artisan. Without an awareness of the passage of time, I just acknowledged my gray hair. My young son has grown up and is enthusiastic to be the next generation potter succeeding me.

For my entire life, I have lived as a potter still embracing the first resolution I made when I entered this world. I will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
I would like to see our traditional onggi firmly rooted in our daily lives. I always appreciate your warm support and encouragement.
